White and concrete finnish home

It's been a while since I've been following finnish blog MUSTA OVI, where talented Maja keeps a building diary in which she has been documenting the construction of her beautiful house. I like the contrast between the concrete wall and the pure white of the kitchen. A few black details like Tom Dixon's Beat Lights and 265 wall lamp by Flos stand out, while the simple furniture combines really well with the whole space. I'm also fascinated by the view from the bedroom's window, such a luxuriant wood!

Hace un tiempo que sigo con interés el blog finlandes MUSTA OVI, en el que la talentuosa Maja documenta la construcción de su lindisima casa. Me encanta el contraste entre la pared de cemento y el blanco de la cocina. Resaltan unos objetos negros como las Beat lights de Tom Dixon y la 265 wall lamp de Flos, mientras los pocos simples muebles se llevan bien  con el espacio minimalista. También me fascina la vista del bosque desde el cuarto principal.

Line Kay lives here

These images are from the home where talented stylist and photographer Line Kay lives in Oslo (for more pics click here). The wooden elements such as the coffee table or the bench, and the wicker details get along perfectly with the predominant white of the interior. The result is a warm and welcoming space. I particularly liked the mix of bowls of the open cup board in the kitchen and the log used as a side table. I suggest you to keep an eye on Line's blog Vintagepiken for more inspiration!

En esta casa vive la talentuosa fotografa y stylist Line Kay en Oslo. Los elementos en madera como la mesa ratona o el banquito, así como los detalles en mimbre, quedan muy bien en un ambiente en donde el blanco predomina. El resultado es un hogar calido y acojedor. Me encanta la mezcla de bowls y platos dejados a vista en la cocina y el tronco pintado de blanco usado como mesita al lado del sillon. Clothes racks

I like the idea of having some clothes racks instead of a wardrobe, these ones  are Ikea Mulig, it's a cheaper solution and you have the whole picture displayed in front of you when you have to get dressed, it's also very cool. Que buena idea remplazar un ropero por un perchero si no hay mucho espacio en el dormitorio. Los de las fotos son los Mulig de Ikea. Es una solución mucho más barata, tenes todo a la vista y es más canchero. Fijate aqui por más fotos, incluyendo las anteriores a la remodelacion, es increíble como unas manos de pintura blanca tranforman un ambiente horrible en un cuarto soñado!
