Living in a trullo

Puglia is one of my favourite places in Italy and I was very pleased to find the pictures of this renovated trullo. A trullo, for those who might not know, is a traditional rural construction, made by stones with a very characterist circular shape, generally used as a warehouse. I like the way this one has been recycled, everything remained quite simple, a lot of concrete, white walls mixed with the old stones. The decoration is a good example of how well design pieces go with traditional interiors, the Parentesi lamp looks great with the vault; it's  also very nice to spot the Bean bags, the Panton chairs and Eero Saarinen's Tulip table close to those huge walls .
